We only use scooter friendly parts and oils of the highest quality for the maintinence of your precious scooter and all our workmanship is guaranteed. For your convenience and at only a small fee we offer pick-up and delivery of your scooter.

Keeping your Scooter in great shape

Saving on fuel and the life of your Scooter can be made by checking your tyre pressure every 2-3 months, battery checks should be done in around the same time frame. Regular servicing replaces gaps in your sparkplug, cleans your air filter which will also save you on your fuel bill. Reducing weight is also another way of saving fuel by taking out any unnecessary bulk from under your seat and in the top box.

Handy Hints if your Scooter won't Start

• Is the ignition turned on
• Is the kill switch in the on position
• Does the scooter have fuel
• Have you pulled the brake lever in
• Is the engine turning over

If you have answered yes to all these questions is the throttle open ..??

If yes try again without touching the throttle..

If the problem persists try using the kick starter but rather then kicking in a singular motion try 5-6 quick kicks in succession this should start your scooter.

Keeping your Scooter Clean ..

It's not only  important that you keep your Scooter serviced regularly but keeping it clean is just as important. Having a clean scooter will help in slowing down paint fade and general deterioration.

For all the environmentally friendly people amongst us, there are a few waterless cleaning products on the market that work well and have a clean fresh smell about them. At Valley Moto we use a product from World Class Detailing which is used on all our Scooters whether they are in the showroom or here for a service.

By doing this regularly you will keep your scooter in pristine condition, which will help in the long run if you ever decide to sell your scooter or upgrade to another.
